Damon Deteso - Radiologist at Millennium Medical Imaging with AI Focus

Dr. Damon Deteso is a diagnostic radiologist at Millennium Medical Imaging in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he brings expertise in CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, X-ray, and ultrasound. His work includes exploring the role of artificial intelligence in radiology. In addition, Dr. Damon Deteso is an active participant in the American College of Radiology, where he regularly attends industry conferences to stay informed on emerging technologies.

His research interest began during his undergraduate studies at Holy Cross, where he co-designed a double pendulum model to study chaotic dynamic systems. The experience continued during his medical training at UMass, where he worked on dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry projects. Dr. Deteso has contributed to academic research through publications and conference presentations. He presented on head CT attenuation values at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in 2001 and on nuclear myocardial perfusion imaging in 2000.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Deteso enjoys various hobbies, including playing guitar and drums, attending concerts, and traveling. He also skis, plays basketball, and enjoys astronomy.
